 Applicants from Blue Mountain Christian University are guaranteed an interview each year for the next available cohort.

Students considering Baptist University majors in Allied Health are advised to:
1. Discuss their chosen Allied Health major at Baptist University with their Blue Mountain advisor and the Baptist University Medical Laboratory Science Program Chair as early as possible in their freshman year.
2. Take the pre-requisites on this ‘Blue Mountain College Status Sheet’ and apply for admission to Baptist University.
3. Once accepted to Baptist University, the student is considered to be in the pre-professional program for that major at Baptist University.
4. To progress from pre-professional to the professional program major at Baptist University, the student should inform their Baptist University advisor so that they can apply for selection to the professional program by deadlines set by the University.
5. Students should refer to the Baptist University’s website at https://www.baptistu.edu/academic-catalog for current ‘Catalog’ of the professional program for specific selection criteria.
6. Students may review the professional program curriculum to be taken at Baptist on the University’s website at https://www.baptistu.edu/AlliedHealth.
7. Most competitive applicants maintain a grade point average higher than 2.7 and perform well on an interview that demonstrates knowledge of the profession (gained from shadowing internships or learning more about the discipline).
