Biology, Bachelor of Science in Education

The program is designed to prepare students to become teachers of biology, chemistry, general science, physics, and physical science in high schools or middle schools. Students receive a broad, well-rounded foundation in the field and instruction in educational pedagogy, classroom management, learning theory, and assessment.

Supplemental Science Endorsements

In addition to the Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Biology requirements, a student may earn a teaching endorsement in either Physical Science or Physics.

This endorsement is available for grades 7-12 and requires a grade of "C" or higher.
