The Department of Language and Literature offers majors in English, Spanish, and Speech and Theatre: the Bachelor of Arts in English with a Writing Emphasis or with a Literature Emphasis, the Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, the Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Theatre, and the Bachelor of Science in Education in English Education or Spanish Education. Minors are available in English, Writing, Spanish, and TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). TESOL is also available as a supplementary endorsement to an Bachelor of Science in Education.
