NUR 452 Community-Based Nurs.Clinical
This clinical course enhances the RN to BSN student’s ability to address health promotion and disease prevention in the community. A major focus of this clinical course is for students to critically think about and discuss the role of a community healthcare nurse within a global environment. Nursing students will be exposed to culturally diverse populations, health disparities that exist and some of the efforts by individuals, groups, and organizations to address the disparities. In addition, students will be provided with information and tools that nurses can use to confront health and healthcare challenges.
