EDU 370 Foundations of Educational Technology
This course provides an overview of current technologies used to enhance teaching and learning in K–12 settings. Students will explore foundational theories, practical applications, and emerging trends in educational technology. Emphasis is placed on instructional design principles, digital literacy, technology integration frameworks (such as SAMR, TPACK, and PICRAT), and ethical considerations. Through hands-on activities and critical reflection, students will develop the skills needed to select, evaluate, and implement technology tools that support diverse learners in digital and blended learning environments.
