Options for Transfer Students in Business Administration

The Department of Business has transfer-in agreements with Mississippi Community Colleges in Construction Management, Marketing Management, and Technology, as well as a transfer out agreement with Baptist College of Health Sciences in Health Care Management. Following are options available for students who are transferring in from Mississippi Community Colleges as well as a transfer-out agreement with Baptist College of Health Sciences.

Construction Management: This plan is available only to students who majored in Construction Management at NEMCC. Up to 33 hours of construction-specific classes, as well as up to 30 hours of core requirements may be transferred to BMC from NEMCC, with the remaining required hours completed at BMC to earn a degree in Business Administration.

Marketing Management: This plan is available only to students who majored in Marketing Management at ICC. Up to 30 hours of marketing management-specific classes, as well as up to 37 hours of core requirements may be transferred to BMC from ICC, with the remaining required hours completed at BMC to earn a degree in Business Administration.

Technology Track: This plan is available only to students who took the Technology Track at Mississippi Community Colleges. Up to 33 hours of technology and of major requirements, as well as up to 38 hours of core requirements may be transferred to BMC from Mississippi Community Colleges, with the remaining required hours completed at BMC to earn a degree in Business Administration.

Business Administration/Construction Management, Bachelor of Science

Degree Program with NEMCC

A student must complete all work at Northeast before beginning this program at BMC which includes the 33 hours in the core and 33 hours of construction management courses.

After completing the work at Northeast, the student may enroll in the Business courses at BMC.

Up to 30 hours of Core requirements may be taken at Northeast Mississippi Community College and transferred to Blue Mountain College.

Up to 37 hours of Core requirements may be taken at Itawamba Community College and transferred to Blue Mountain College.
