NUR 332 Clinical Nursing II
Introduces the student to the clinical setting in providing evidenced-based quality Christian nursing care to adult patients experiencing chronic health care conditions in diverse settings. The clinical course focuses on the role of the nurse in meeting the physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental needs of the maternal and child patient. The student will gain experiences in antepartal, intrapartal, and postpartal care; complications of pregnancy; newborn care; pediatric care; and select pediatric alterations. The nursing process will be used as a framework in assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating nursing care for these patients.
