ENG 100 English Composition I

Prepares students for academic writing. Heavy emphasis is placed on the writing process and rhetorical strategies, including attention to the intended purpose and audience of texts. Students review principles of grammar and usage as needed. They write both informally and formally as they develop, write, and revise personal experience, expository, and analytical essays.

Prerequisite

Students who have received credit for ENG 101 or ENG 111 may not enroll in ENG 100.
